Eddie Eagle comes to Lynchburg

The Lynchburg Sheriff’s Office and Lynchburg Project Lifesaver have teamed with Eddie Eagle to teach kids about Gun Safety.
Every year, thousands of children are able to learn how to avoid firearm accidents through The Eddie Eagle program with the friendly Eddie Eagle mascot and animated video, activity books, posters, and reward stickers to teach them how to stay safe.
Now Lynchburg Sheriff’s Deputy a.k.a. “Kinder Cop”, Corporal Margaret Younger, is visiting our local schools and other community events and learning centers to help spread Eddie Eagle’s message:
If you see a gun: STOP!
Don’t Touch
Leave the Area
Tell an Adult
