Sheriff Ronald L. Gillispie accepted the appointment as the Virginia State Coordinator for Project Lifesaver International.  Chief Executive Officer Gene Saunders was on hand to make the presentation to Sheriff Gillispie.  The State Coordinator assists Project Lifesaver International by providing trainers for new Virginia agencies that desire to implement the Project Lifesaver program to their individual communities.  This provides these agencies certified training from a public safety agency in their state which enhances the programs effectiveness in delivery of the training and cost reduction.

The selection of State Coordinator is the highest recognition and endorsement that Project Lifesaver International can bestow on a member agency. Sheriff Gillispie stated that he gladly accepts this honor.
