Sheriff Gillispie attended the graduation of Mrs. Morris' 2009 Pre-K class at Sandusky Elementary School.  Each graduate was presented a certificate and sworn in as "Junior Deputies" with the Lynchburg Sheriff's Office.
Corporal Margaret Younger, a.k.a "Kinder Kop", has been visiting with the class throughout the school year spending time with the Pre-kindergarten class children reading, having lunch and other activities that will promote positive influence and relationships between the children of our community and the law enforcement agencies.

To always try hard in school, listen to my teachers and do my best."
